STUDENTS OF PKO FIK UNY WIN CHAMPIONS IN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, IPITEx 2020

Students of the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University (FIK UNY) again won an International award through Miya Kurniawati of the 2018 PKO study program. Miya and her teammates participated in the International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition 2020 (IPITex 2020) which was held in Bangkok, Thailand. This activity takes place from Saturday to Thursday (1-6/2/2020).

Every year on Thailand's Inventors Day, an International Pavilion is established to showcase the potential and exciting inventions and innovations of International inventors/innovators. In 2020, the exhibition will be known as the Bangkok International Intellectual Property Exposition, Innovation and Technology Discovery (IPITex 2020). A total of 514 international teams participated in this event. Eighty-eight of them were teams from Indonesia, and 426 teams from other countries, including Thailand itself, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China.

Miya and her group consisted of Astuti Naviah Apriliani (Chemical Education – FMIPA), Latifah Nur Khasanah (Chemical Education – FMIPA), and Jefri Eko Cahyono (Communication Science – FIS), Asmi Aris (Chemical Education – FMIPA) and also Miya Kurniawati (Educational Education). Sports Coaching – FIK) won the Silver Medal in the health category.

The title of their scientific work is Ointment of Ketapang Leaf (Terminalia Catappa) as an Effort to Overcome Inside Wounds in Skin. (PD)
