A total of 115 students and 10 teachers from SMA Negeri 14 Tangerang visited the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University. The activity on Monday, April 18, 2016, was held in the Main Meeting Room of GPLA FIK and was welcomed directly by the Dean and the leadership ranks from the Deputy Dean to the UUIK FIK UNY team. The principal of SMA Negeri 14 Tangerang Regency, R. Tandjung, S.Y., S.Pd., stated that he is very grateful to FIK UNY for providing the opportunity to visit one of the faculties in the best sports college in Indonesia. In addition, visits to universities will further provide motivation and insight into higher levels of education after secondary education. "Incidentally, some of our students who took part in this visit have sports talent, namely in the sport of hockey, and have achievements at the regional level, therefore we hope that they will be increasingly encouraged to study at quality universities," said R. Tanjung.

The Dean of FIK UNY, Prof. Dr. Wawan Sundawan Suherman, M.Ed. very 'welcome' to welcome a visit from SMA Negeri 14 Kab. Tangerang. In addition to providing information, socialization, and promotion of FIK UNY, campus visits are able to provide an opportunity to get to know the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University more closely. Furthermore, the Dean of FIK explained the majors and study programs at FIK UNY as well as provided an overview of the competence of graduates in each study program where the PJKR Study Program produces physical education, sports, health, and recreation educators in secondary schools (SMP and SMA). PGSD Physical Education Study Program produces graduates of physical education, sports, health, and recreation educators in elementary schools, Ikor Study Program produces programmers/sports management, fitness and injury therapists, fitness instructors, and adaptive sports, and PKO Study Program produces professional sports coaches.
The afternoon visit ended with the exchange of souvenirs between the Dean of FIK UNY and the Principal of SMA Negeri 14 Tangerang and a tour around the FIK UNY campus led by students from BEM FIK UNY. (SP 27)
